Record-breaking shipments, increased production, strong winter demand, a new UK distribution partner and our newest athlete joining Team Universal. August delivered plenty of positives across the business!
From increasing production capacity by 30% and shipping 4,100 winter tyres across Europe, to welcoming New Bridgegate Tyres to our UK network and announcing Tommy “The Essex Warhorse” Donovan as our newest athlete partner, there’s been plenty happening across Universal Tyres.

Investing for Growth: Production Capacity Up 30%
As Universal Tyres continues to grow throughout 2026, we’ve made further investment across our product range with the introduction of new molds.
The investment will increase our production capacity by 30%, helping us meet growing demand and support the continued expansion of the Universal Tyres brand across our markets.
With stronger demand coming from our distributor network, this investment ensures we’re well placed to keep up with the growth and continue delivering across our full range.
It’s another important step as we continue to build the Universal Tyres brand globally.
Winter Range: 4,100 Tyres Shipped!
Our winter range has also been busy, with 4,100 tyres shipped across Finland, the Netherlands, the Baltics, Italy and France ahead of the winter season.

With winter demand continuing to grow, we’re already looking ahead to next season, with new partners and new sizes planned for the range.
Welcoming New Bridgegate Tyres to the Network
From Tyres to the Ring: Universal Tyres X Tommy Donovan
Having worked closely with the Universal team through Tubeline, bringing that relationship into boxing felt like a natural next step! With 13 wins from 17 fights, Tommy has built an impressive record during his boxing career.
Tommy will be back in action on 26th September, with victory taking him to 14 career wins. We’re delighted to be supporting him on his boxing journey and look forward to following his progress!
Poland: Growing Despite a Challenging Market
The Polish truck tyre market continues to face a challenging year, with sales down 6% year-on-year during the first half of 2026 as fleets and distributors remain cautious with spending.
Despite the wider market conditions, our Sales Manager, Bartek, continues to work closely with customers and distributors to identify opportunities and build demand for Universal Tyres.
That approach is already delivering positive results, with Universal Tyres orders continuing to strengthen month after month in Poland.
It’s a great example of how our local teams are continuing to push the brand forward, even in challenging market conditions.
RengasCenter Showcases Universal Tyres at Power Truck Show
Our Finnish partner, RengasCenter, also took Universal Tyres to the Power Truck Show last month, showcasing the brand and our TBR range to customers and industry professionals from across Finland.
The event formed part of our wider Universal Tyres X RengasCenter launch campaign, helping to introduce the brand to the Finnish market and create new conversations with fleets, operators and industry professionals.

Team Universal: Luke Quint Heads Into September
Our athlete partner Luke Quint is also heading into a busy September as he continues his 2026 season on the Tartan Pro Tour.
Following The Fairmont, St Andrews event, Luke has three more fixtures ahead this month:
