September at Universal Tyres: On the Road, Across Europe & Around The World
From welcoming José Rodrigues to Team Universal and taking another step towards independent testing and certification for our tyres, to shipping 150 containers to 36 different countries in just 45 days, it’s fair to say things are all go at Universal!
This month has been about continuing to build the relationships behind our growing network, while taking further steps to support the quality and performance of our products.
Here’s a look back at our highlights from September…
150 Containers. 45 Days. 36 Countries.
Over the past 45 days, we’ve shipped 150 containers to 36 different countries across our global network!
This really is a great reflection of the continued demand for Universal Tyres and the work happening across our production, logistics and sales teams to keep everything moving.
A huge well done to our team for making this happen. From production and logistics to sales and everyone involved behind the scenes, shipping 150 containers to 36 different countries in just 45 days is an amazing achievement and something the whole team can be proud of!
From Europe and beyond, our tyres are continuing to make their way into more markets around the world and we’re proud to see our network continuing to grow.
A huge thank you to all of our partners and customers around the world. This wouldn’t be possible without your continued trust and support.
Welcome to Team Universal, José Rodrigues!
September saw us welcome our latest athlete partner to Team Universal as Portuguese racing driver, José Rodrigues, joined the team.
José is the reigning Portuguese Hill Climb Champion in the GT Category and is back behind the wheel this season in his Porsche 992 GT3 Cup with RACAR Motorsport, currently leading the GT championship standings.
With a successful racing career and strong ties to the tyre industry through his company, Rodrigues Tyres, a valued Universal Tyres partner, it’s a partnership that makes perfect sense.
We’re looking forward to supporting José as he continues his 2026 campaign and pushes for another championship title.
Welcome to Team Universal, José!
Bartek’s on the Road: Poland
Our Sales Manager, Bartek, was on the road in Poland this month, taking the opportunity to visit Włodan.
The visit included a look around their fleet and warehouse, as well as some valuable time catching up with the team and seeing their operation first-hand.
Visits like this are a great way for our team to stay close to our customers, understand their businesses and continue building strong relationships across our markets.
A big thank you to the Włodan team for having us!
France: Building Our Partnership with Agoragom
Our Sales Director, Yusuf, also spent some time in France this month visiting our partner, Agoragom.
Yusuf had the opportunity to visit their headquarters, catch up with Co-Founder Jason Perrier and spend time with the wider team, getting to know the business even better.
The visit also included dinner together in the beautiful city of Montpellier, making it a great opportunity to catch up away from the day-to-day.
A big thank you to Jason and the whole Agoragom team for the warm welcome and for showing Yusuf around.
It’s always great to spend time with our partners face to face and we look forward to continuing to build our relationship with Agoragom.
Taking the Next Step: Universal Tyres x TÜV SÜD
At Universal Tyres, we’re always looking to improve and continue investing in our products.
This month, we took another step in that direction with our initial kick-off call with Michael from TÜV SÜD, discussing the certification process and the independent testing involved.
For us, it’s about putting our tyres through independent testing and letting the results speak for themselves.
We know what our tyres can do. Now, we’re looking forward to having the data and certification to back it up.
It’s an important step for Universal Tyres and one we’ll be building on over the coming months.
More to come!
Welcome to the Universal Network, Padborg Daek Center!
September also saw us welcome Padborg Daek Center to the wider Universal Tyres network, through our partner Otto Just supplying Universal tyres to the team in Denmark.
Based in Padborg, this is a new region for Universal Tyres and another great step as our network continues to grow across Europe.
A big welcome to the team at Padborg Daek Center and a thank you to Otto Just for helping bring Universal tyres into Denmark.
We’re looking forward to seeing our tyres on the roads in Denmark!
Team Universal: Our Athletes in Action
It’s been a busy month for Team Universal, with all three of our athlete partners in action across boxing, golf and motorsport.
Tommy Donovan: Victory in the Ring
Tommy “The Essex Warhorse” Donovan returned to the ring at The Circus Tavern Nightclub in Purfleet, defending his IBA Championship against Liam Hayward.
Tommy put in a strong performance to take the win by unanimous decision, adding a 14th win to his professional record.
Congratulations Tommy!
José Rodrigues: Back on the Race Track
Our athlete partner, José Rodrigues, was back behind the wheel in September, competing at the Boticas International Hill Climb!
José is now looking ahead to his next challenge, the Arrábida Hill Climb in Setúbal on 3-4 October, as his 2026 campaign continues in the Portuguese Hill Climb Championship.
Good luck this weekend José!
Luke Quint: A Busy Month on the Tartan Pro Tour
It’s been a busy month for Luke Quint, with a number of fixtures on the Tartan Pro Tour.
Luke has been back on the course throughout September, competing across Scotland.
Next up is the Gleneagles from 7-9 October, which will bring the 2026 Tartan Pro Tour season to a close.
We’ll be keeping a close eye on Luke as he heads into the final event of the season!
From continuing to grow our global network and welcoming a new athlete to Team Universal, to taking important steps with our products and seeing our athletes in action, September has been a month of plenty happening across Universal!
A big thank you to our team, partners and customers for their continued support, and to our athlete partners for representing Universal throughout the month. A special well done to our team behind the scenes too. Shipping 150 containers to 36 different countries in just 45 days is a huge achievement, and it wouldn’t be possible without everyone playing their part.
There’s plenty more happening as we head into the final few months of 2026, and we’re looking forward to sharing more with you soon!
